If anybody talks about India and Indian  film industry then suddenly a word stuck in mind  ''Bollywood''.Even most Indian knows about only Bollywood,South Indian film Industry,Punjabi film Industry ...Indian Independent cinema  is still not equally known...I think only peoples who are related to the film industry knows enough about  Independent cinema....the sad thing is that Indian news channels also don't broadcast any pro-gramme ,news about this industry or issues related to it ..... Only some news are published in news  papers and site related to some known film festivals...

Story is based on two friends who live in slum area in Mumbai.They chase girls ,steal an auto rickshaw , potatoes together to escape from their life's reality..... It has made a mark in Toronto film festival 2012..

2.Shuttlecock boys[2011]

director-Hemant gaba

It was the directorial debut of Hemant gaba...The best thing i like about this film is that it was made with Non actors and they have done a really good job...Based on four friends  living in delhi........

3.Miss lovely [2012]

director -Asim ahluwalia

Totally different from a Bollywood kind film..Based on  Mumbai's c-Grade film industry.......worth watch 

4.Peddlers [2012]

director -Basan bala

I have not seen this film yet but read its reviews looks like a interesting story which revolves around three people..and came across each other .......was viewed in cannes film festival 2012..

5.Kumare {2013}

director-Vikram Gandhi

Its a documentary movie..Vikram Gandhi has also acted in this Indian Independent movie....and what  a portrayal of character he has done...incredible ..he said in an interview that he feels more comfortable as Kumare ..story of this movie revolves around a director who turns into a fake guru and built a large following...

 starring Konkana sen sharma , namit das ....its a must watch 
 movie.....this movie was released in theater in 2006 and got  positive reviews from critics...
